It took about a week but I've got my tyres now

For anyone wondering how they ship it.. They ship the tyres in pairs with no box or anything.

Now to speak to road and race

Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position 225 and 255 hopefully as good as the PSS but with the advantage of a rounder shoulder and 0.2" more narrow

FYI road and race charge 25$ to fit each tyre then 120 for the wheel alignment.

Hey guys, I'm curious to know who you're dealing with on Tirerack? Gill seems to be the contact guy here on the BMW forums.

I've had tyres shipped over there before for various cars- I dealt with a guy called Steve Huffman, who allowed me to pay via American Express (as long as shipping/billing addresses matched). As dh58 said, they're two tyres taped together in pairs with the shipping invoice stuck in an envelope

Wire transfer (option) but I didn't wiretransfer to them exactly.. read on

I deal with worldfirst for my foreign exchange. So I called them and said i'm buying something in the US and I need 1000$USD what exchange rate can you give me. I got about 50pips below the market rate on xe.com. And they transferred it to them for $15.

Wiretransfer would've cost 25-35 but because its EFT to their bank here in oz. Then they transfer to tirerack's bank in the US. We don't pay wire transfer fee and we get a better exchange rate

These tyres have ALOT of grip. I find it hard to lose traction in 1st gear at wot. Very impressed.

Also Peter from roadandperformance knows his stuff. To boot he has his own race car m3.

I'll be going back to him.. He's good.
