Well, its been a busy weekend for me. Ordered the 1M rear parts I need to complete the conversion. Last week I ordered a GTHaus 1M Meisterschaft axle-back exhaust. I would have loved to have been able to get the Titanium version, but couldn't swing it with everything else.
Ordered the RevoZport 1M Raze CF non-sunroof replacement panel and going to be cutting away my roof and ditching the sunroof and all that weight up high to lower the center of gravity for better handling (and of course weight reduction). I resolved my TPMS Inactive issue. For me, since the ER Competition Oil Cooler is so much larger over stock, I had to relocate the TPMS Receiver essentially behind that "trap door" in the plastic wheel liner. The shop that installed the comp oil cooler for me when I got the MOTIV 750 kit secured the receiver too far away from the wheel. I also cut the plastic wheel liner to maximize cooling. While under my 135 I noticed that Level10 painted my tranny case black and hooked me up. I installed RevoZport Carbon Fiber dust shields that have support for brake ducting. And one pic of the engine bay. I do need to detail it and clean things up in there a bit, but all things in time. Last edited by Sk8fe; 04-01-2015 at 05:47 AM.. Reason: corrected typo |

Excellent choice on the revozport roof.
Note, you will need to get a replacement rear glass. Bmw does not sell rear glass seals separate so you can't reuse your glass like you can with the windshield. |

Latest update:
I need to replace my O2 sensors, I occasionally get a SES icon in the instrument cluster. I have a small oil leak that I need to track down post the MOTIV 750 kit install. That is very upsetting given how much I spent on this, so whatever my local shop charges me to resolve I plan on forwarding that invoice to the shop that performed the initial install for reimbursement. Wish me luck on that front. I got my 1 dyno tuned finally and the tuner said that there is something wrong with my boost controller, so I need look into that. I may need to go to a standalone boost controller. On 93 pump gas they normally tune my setup to 22 to 24 psi, but he left it at 1 bar (16 psi) for now. Baseline pull was at half a bar. Final pull was at 1 bar. Not quite the numbers I was hoping for, but for now they are decent IMO and I'll take it. After the 1M rear conversion, paint and CF roof replacement gets done then it is back to power train and getting 1.5 bars and hopefully mid-500's on the dyno. |

If anyone knows and can recommend someone or company that provides custom software upgrade for my STEPTRONIC, please let me know. Since the Level10 bulletproofing service including valve bodies and torque converter I noticed that my up-shifts when in Manual mode (using the paddles) for some reason isn't fast enough and I fall out of boost. It's quite noticible.
This only seems to happen in Manual mode, which I'm always in when out on the track. Ironically when my 1 is in Sport mode ("DS") this doesn't seem to happen. When in Sport mode and I get on it, the car is quite the beast. I need updated STEPTRONIC software to tune (speed up) the shifts in Manual mode. Let me know. Thx |

Car's looking great! I should have my rear quarters in by next week too, hoping to get it into the body shop by May. We should meet up once they're both finished!

My 1M rear parts are going to be delivered to the shop performing the conversion tomorrow. I dropped off my 1 last weekend along with the RevoZport CF parts. The RevoZport CF roof replacement panel is off the hook! |

Received an email from the shop that the glass is out and that they were able to preserve the rear glass seals to reuse the glass so I need to see if I can return the rear glass I purchased.
I'm heading to the shop this weekend to drop off more parts and to take pics. I'm hoping that the roof will be cut out by then and at least I can get pics of the car like that and with the RevoZport CF roof in place/test fitted. |

Thanks!
Hopefully many more pics to post in the next month. Just waiting on the Meisterschaft 1M axle-back exhaust to ship and arrive. They said 6 to 8 weeks lead time and it's been 7 weeks, so fingers crossed it ships soon! |

Awesome build.. and thankyou for the detailed info.
Does the oil cooler hit the side black ducting panel? Any pics from the front showing the ducting with the 1m bumper? |

Not since the ER Competition Oil cooler install, but yes a rectangle hole needed to be cut into the inside black plastic side ducting to accommodate the oversized competition oil cooler.

Thanks!
Excited to get it to the next stage. After I recover from this round of mods and get these issues resolved then it is time for back-half roll hoop and harness bar, track seats (and harnesses) then its time for fuel system overhaul to run the corn juice. |

This is the route i wanted to take my car, glad to see I'm not the only one who thought of it. Keep us posted on the roof work. I wanted to do it but I'm hesitant to trust anyone to cut up my roof.

Let me know how that goes and what you pick. I am definitely interested in running full corn juice myself.
