Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Theres been many times i left my car behind, deploymend, TDY's, vacation, etc etc. Sometimes months at a time.
This last time, i have moved from Germany To Cali. I have been driving my old beat up 2.3 liter pickup to get around while my car was being shipped to me. Was a loooooong month and 18 days. Love my pickup but when i drove my car home from LA today it was like being in a whole new car. Responsive clutch, short shifting, solid steering, crazy torque, acceleration no matter what speed your going, people admiring and staring at the car. The list goes on. And this was on shitty 91 octane. It really makes me appreciate this car more after being away from it an extended amount of time.

Yeah, seriously... I just had a car rental on an Impala for a trip to upstate Buffalo which was about a 9 hour drive back and forth for 3 days and when I got back home and drove my car. I felt the same way.
