Mercedes Benz discounting?

Do Benz discount and by how much - am considering a c63 AMG?

Anyone have any first hand experience of negotiating a Benz? I know BMW gave me good discounts in the past but never negotiated a Benz.

tell them your currently undecided between the c63 and an M3, and that you have been offered a really good deal on a M3!!!

Surely in the current market, all car makes are open to deals.

Find out roughly what % Discount to aim for and Go nuts! When i bought my GTi i found out that around 12% off retail was a good discount, and i got 13.5%!

Usually you'll find a thread on whatever is the main Merc forums!

Good luck.

When i worked there a few years back, they NEVER discount.

Build value, never discount. That's their thing.

Not my experience with dealings with various dealerships in Qld. Nor my friends' experience.

Agree Sparoz. Massive discounts, especially C63s.

Depends where you go really. I like to think I got a decent deal on my one. I know a couple of other guys who have also bought C63s at good 'deal' prices. PM for more info if you want.

Thanks for the replies. When we are talking massive discounts/deals does this mean 10%+ discounting from their manufacturer's list price?

Probably because we are performance car fans and the C63 is a great car that we'd all know about. And as we drive BMW's, there's a fair chance that a few of us have dabbled in MB ownership in the past.

I take my hat off to you !

I've been in the chatswood dealer a couple of times over the years and the best I could do was a couple of hundred, which is why I've never bought one.

Yep, I went to Chatswood too and the guy would not budge one bit on a C63 with Performance Pack only option for ~ 180k. He kept shrugging off any attempts to lower the price. Ended up going to MB Sydney the next day and got a much better optioned car for less than what Chatswood wanted.

I've never bought one, but I've been offered up to 20% off a run out ML350.
