Please help any idea what happened?
At work right now so I can't post a video but I pulled a u-turn after grabbing some lunch heard a snap and two minutes later a metal on metal grinding sound started to happen. I pulled into the nearest parking lot and nothing was dragging or seemed disconnected under the car. It is a very nasty sound like $$$$$$$ out the window .
The sounds only occurs when moving forward, I can park and rev with no issues also can reverse with no issues. Driving forward even at low speeds causes this disgusting sound, I'm hoping its a wheel bearing or a control arm and not something more expensive. Any insight would be much appreciated! |

This video is exactly the sounds my car WAS making, now it's turned into a metal on metal grinding sound. Some people said tighten the lugs because they weren't torqued correctly, but I refuse to believe this sound is coming from loose lug nuts... |

U might have a rock got stuck between backing plate and brake rotor. Find out which wheel making the noise. Jack it up and spin my hand. If sound still there when spinning by hand. Then take wheel off and check for rock

Doesn't sound like cowbell, but it could be.
