If you need actual documentation of this, I will give it to you as soon as my rep from BMW NA comes back (he's sick and I've been sending the poor guy 10 e-mails a day).

Your service department may actually tell you that different, because BMW Performance is not something many dealerships are into. However, no one knows warranty better than the service department, but I'd guess you need to tell them ahead of time if you have maintenance performance parts so they can order the parts for your repair (wow run-on sentence much? :biggrin

Angel, what color are your wheels going to be? If black, I'll send you my left-over black roundel stickers that I used on my car if you're interested. Free, of course  I have enough for the wheels, both roundels, and the steering wheel. Bought it from Bimmian probably about 6 months ago
Thanks for the info!!!

Good to hear! How many miles have you put on them? I plan on picking up a set (or at least order them) the day I pick up my 135.

Are these supposed to be directional, i.e., is there a left and right side rotor?

I can't wait for BMW to come out with the rear set. Hopefully I'll have some extra cash saved up by then. I doubt it though, I've got a laundry list of mods lol

They are not directional. There is only one part#.

Are these zinc plated to prevent rust? Also interested in picking these up once the rears are available.

I don't believe they are, you get the normal surface rust on the rotors after a wash.

Thumbs down

I thought that since the price for the rotors has just about doubled recently it would be nice to have them covered by the four year warranty. To that end I went down to the dealer's service department to ask what it would cost to install the rotors. They quoted me $190.00 per rotor . Needless to say I will be installing them myself and living with a mere two years of warranty.
