128i wheels on a 135i

I give up guys...

Either I buy some non run flats for my car or I get some used 128i rims with some tires...

The pot holes and overall road conditions are leaving me with a migraine...

Help!

I run my 17" stock 128i wheels with my winters and a meaty sidewall. I have the BMW Performance calipers on the front so the 17" will fit the 135i no problem, since its the same caliper as your stock. I also raise the front about 2" and soften the Koni's in the winter just to better deal with the potholes and snow. May be an option for you next winter. As for me, can't wait to get my summer wheels and tires back on, and get my stance back.

I run M207's in OEM staggered size as winters on my 135i with no problems. It's a tight fit, though, can't put little wheel woolie between the caliper and the rim when washing.

I run BMW 17" 141 style in the winter with higher sidewall rfts (50 front and 45 rear, iirc) and it's not bad on crappy New England roads.
I'm not sure what model 141s originally came on though. In my case, the dealer had them sitting around collecting dust already wrapped in good snow rubber (someone ordered then didn't take delivery). I got them for a steal, especially coming from a stealership.
Only problem is that I don't love the looks of the 141. I don't hate them, but I certainly don't love them.
