So far my 1 has been on the move since I dropped it off on July 5 in Munich. The ship it's on is to dock Saturday in NY

My appointment for PCD is now set for Aug. 26th but I need to make sure my wife can go.

That's great news!

I hope your wife can make it - that would be a great time for you two. My wife and I have already discussed the idea of doing either ED or PCD for our next Bimmer. I guess we'll see 2-3 years from now.

About dinner, if we meet up at the parking garage in Royal Oak at 3rd and Center (west of Main St), there are many places we can walk to for dinner.

I don't think that's a bad idea at all... Could be fun to take all of the cars to the top of the structure to "safety park" them too. :smile:

I'm not familiar with most of the places down there, but can personally vouch for Katana - both their Japanese grill/hibachi & sushi are phenomenal and the seating would allow us all to sit together comfortably... Thoughts?

Katana, Bastone or any of the other places around RO will work for me. You are right that seating availability will be key. Just to recap, has a time been set to meet on Aug. 2?

No set time, but I'm guessing it should be a little bit later because Woodward doesn't pick up until 9 PM at the EARLIEST.

I'm open to suggestion. :smile:

I'm not ruling out the idea of doing something beforehand either... I'm just not sure what to do.

Be sure to bring some cash for coffee (or other iced drink) while at the "cruise location" as the cops will kick us out if they're in a bad mood and we're not "customers."

Oh and for those interested, I should receive my CP-E exhaust early to mid next week and have it installed by the meet... :smile:

And while I'd love to help you out with the wax, my car is in dire need of a GOOD cleaning. We've seen so much intermittent rain that I haven't washed it well in like 2 weeks. Some colors can get away with that, but definitely not black!
