Signed up for BMW driver training.

So I bit the bullet and signed up for Advanced II on 28th April and Perfection on 30th April at QLD Raceway. Is any one else going?

The BMW courses certainly aren't cheap but a bloke at work has done one and raved about it. I've done a couple of driver training courses and lots of rider training/track days and always have a good time. This one shouldn't disappoint.

I can't wait to drive the M3 in it's element! I just know I'm going to want one after this...........

I'm doing the basic course on 12 Feb at Phillip Island. Will provide feedback then. In my case it was part of the deal when I bought the car, but I think it is about $650 for the base course. See the BMW web site for dates and costs and to book.

I was going to do a few this year, but the *cough* slight fall in markets has reduced my bonus potential somewhat...

Will see about doing some later in the year maybe.

When I ordered my car I was invited to a dealer run track day at Eastern Creek with Geoff Brabham and co. Awesome day. You do get to take the DSC off the M3 on the skidpan ... but not while doing laps of the track. This is reserved for the instructor's hot-lap where they show you exactly what the car can do ...
