That's good to know. I'm still deciding if whether or not I should get a DP or not since my car is a lease. But I'm definately going to get the new BMS intake.

I haven't noticed any issues with my car yet even prior to the JB4 install. It is possibly on when the car was built?

I have a slight blurble and roughish idle on cold start. seems to subside once the car is warmed up but can still feel it pulsing underneath the car. should be normal considering what is removed during the process.

Did anyone try resetting the ECU and relearn without the cat?

So any conclusion on this? I just ordered my BMS downpipe for my N55 and I plan on running map 2 but I'm not looking forward to dealing with stalling issues...I did read all the posts and I couldnt find any kind of definite answer or fix to this...are people still having this issue?

I had this issue a few times with my '11 DCT, once with the stock DP and once with the AR Design DP. the revs would bounce up and down sometimes, but it would only stall on me once.

My drive home today was very different. I stalled at every stop. Every. Single. Stop. i rolled through several stop signs to avoid stalling because it was so bad. i stalled twice just trying to get up the driveway. The car was completely warm, and i even tried putting my JB4 in map 0. The morning drive was fine, no problems. I just dont understand why its acting up now. I've had the mods on the car for nearly 4000 miles and i've had no issues.

has anyone had this kind of experience?

Terry advised me to flash the 3/7 firmware (posted here) and set the Future Use A field to 100. While I don't drive a whole lot and the issue doesn't surface every single time, I haven't experienced any issues since doing this last week, knock on wood.

i have this same issue. my car wasn't stock long enough to figure out if it had something to do with one of the mods.

if the tmap is confirmed, i might look into this further.

Did they just swap out the sensor or did they swap the wires too?

I only have this happen if the car is not warmed up and I turn the AC on. Not using the AC gives me no revving problems when the car isn't warmed up.

I am having theses issues as well. I purchased my car and did not notice this at all. I put the BMS DP and it started reving very weird. Then I added the JB4 and Intake and it has stalled on my 6 time in the past 6 months.

Also I when slowing down and then trying to speed up if it does not stall it drops tp low RPMs and then shoots like crazy...

Anyone find a fix for this yet?

I have an N55 DCT equipped 135 with DP and JB4 and this happens to me on occasion. Usually when it's really cold and the car hasn't warmed up yet. I "heel toe" when the revs start bouncing at a stop and keep my left foot ready to hit the brake in case my foot slips. No need to put it in park or neutral. The JB4 ISO mod seemed to help but no scientific proof of this.

2011 135i DCT. i have had this problem here and there prior to any mods.

NOw have JB4 stage 2 and BMS CAI, I started experiencing more, but realized i was on MAP 2.

The last time i experienced it, it was (literaly) -14 degrees and my wife had gotten in the care, cranked the heat to 84 and started driving.

I started having her let the car warm up without the heat or AC blasting, and so far so good (only about 500 miles)

I'm installing BMS DP and Berk Street exhaust this weekend. I'll post if it gets worse.

Installed BMS DP & berk street axle back last weekend and started getting the same symptoms everyone is talking about. Irregular idling and revs, and stalling.

My default waste gate setting was at 50 so i played around with that and settled on 80. Symptoms have drastically improved. The car drives and revs better than ever. At an idle there is still some fluctuation. RPMs fluctuate by 100-150 RPMs, but fluctuation happens only in short spurts.

this may or not be helpful. As i suspect that the setting of 50 was probably the problem, not the DP install.

I also talked to Terry @ BMS and he advised me to run the E85 harness and set FUE value to 20. He advised that this will help for guys in cold - weather that run DP. Just got the harness today.
