ECS Rotors

These look interesting:

http://www.ecstuning.com/News/BMW_E8...e_Brake_Rotors

Currently have the BMW Performance ones, but would consider these down the line. Anyone have experience with ECS Rotors for other applications?

Ive got a brakejob due up in July by my estimations. Id be curious as to how these actually perform...but I relaly dont want to be a guinea pig.

Also I can get a full set of perf rotors (4), CC pads, and new fluid for about $800. Think these will save me money in that regard?

I saw them the other day and the looked very interesting as another option for 2-piece rotors. Price is decently good too. Like others, i'm looking forward to see a review on them and pricing on the replacement rings.

I have their SS lines now and they are great.

Seems to be still more for looks than anything? It's 2 piece, but still very thin (26mm), and the vent doesn't seem to be of the convergent vane design. I am having doubt on whether the heat removal capability of these rotors are anywhere near close to that of the RB rotors or the E46 M3 Competition Rotors.

At the same price, those E46 M3 Competition rotors are a real bargain. Can't we find some vendor to help us mass manufacture those Diesel boost adapters? I guess we can easily find 20/30 people on this forum to form a group purchase so there are some traction on it?

At the current time we do not have rear 2 piece rotors in production. I've been directing guys towards our ECS GEOMET Rotors (seen HERE for the rear of the 135) for now .

At about a 20% weight reduction of a standard rotor it'd be a nice drop in rotational mass for you.

what kinda of testing have these been pu through? With the RB debacle lately I'm a bit skeptical specially being a guinea pig at the track. I've been using the EBC Sport Slotted for the track and they've been great, no warping, last a long time.

But two piece rotors are a much better investment if they've gone through proper testing.
