Here are a couple of closeup shots of the wheels on the car. BTW I'm running 225/35/19s in front and 255/35/19s on the rear (Hankook V12 Evos).

IMO it goes the other way, if you go 19's you have to lower the suspension to get it to look right. 18s look better with the stock suspension.

Well i was thinking that 19's will reduce the gap and even though the tire is 35 instead of 40 but the rim is bigger so less tire more rim !!correct me if im wrong !

From a performance stand point, if the overal diameter with tire is larger than stock, you will definitely feel the weight from the extra rotating mass.
Not sure of the actual formula, but have bought lightweight wheels in the past, but overall diameter was bigger than stock and I could feel it with just light spirited driving. Also, not sure of the 135i, but I am pretty sure it will affect it, but once turning..... maybe a risk to rubbing the fender liner. Had to remove the fender liners off my previous car to avoid the annoying rubbing noise when turning more than 13rd turn. |

look at my post under ISS Forged. I had these custom built wheels built and powder coated for my car the was black on black and they were perfect and lighter then the factory M Wheels for my 135I. DO NOT DO A 20 ON the 1z car. 19 max unless u want to be Get-O-Fabulous This is coming from a guy that has ha a lot of high end fast cars.
