Request: How do you remove the cover for the front side window airbag?

Hello, I have some squeaking noise from the front left corner of the dashboard, after careful observation i have realised that it is the front window pillar airbag cover that is lose, Can anyone help me on who to remove the cover?

Thanks in advance

I have attached a diagram of the cover.

You should be very carefull bc of the curtian airbag is under there. It looks like there is a screw under the SRS airbag logo on the A-pillar... then work the door gasket out of the way and pull off the A-pillar trim from top to bottom.

I would look up some trheads on installing a remote rader detector like a V1 or Passport... I am sure someone has gone up in there before.

Good Luck,
Dackel

I had the exact same squeaking noise and I solved it by removing A pillar and putting some rubber inside. Just follow the instructions that Dackelone found and it should be an easy job removing the A pillar. BUT (there is always a but I guess ), you'll have one he** of a time putting it back on - it took me at least 0.5 hour if not more. Whatever I did the bottom clip just would slide in. So my advice here is don't loose your nerves, eventually the A pillar will slide perfectly back on Oh and don't forget to take a beer or two after you finish, in my experience that really helps to cool down
