OP: happy to provide you more info if helpful. I never abuse cars, even if not my own, the beauty of the 1M's torque curve is that you don't need to be high up in the rev range to fall in love with it. Just IMHO.

Ah cool. These cars are meant to be driven hard so I'm not too upset (as long as there is a warranty)

I think the two BMW UK cars that got the real abuse where white and valencia - when I met up with the product manager at Bracknell the orange one was undriveable because the clutch was ****ed and they both, lets just say, needed new tyres ;-)

But yours is black, so it wasn't one of those

The main one I would avoid is the autocar one.
But for the right price...I still would!!
