That's cheaper than a Red Bull F1 team polo, which was selling at the Austin race for $145.

Ordered mine.

By the way, the web site allows you to enter up to 15 characters of letters and or numbers for what you would like on the sleeve. Your name won't be on your sleeve unless you want it that way.

I chose "1M 293 of 739" for my shirt.

Why "739", Red ? It's 740 for the US. I was only pulling Metak's leg in a previous post (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=30). Change the figure now that you still can.

On another note: the 1M was an unexpected success for BMW. The initial figure of 2,700 became 6,309, which implies a win factor of 2.3367. More than just a fringe benefit. And Valencia Orange was initially supposed to be a rare color conceived for the 1M (they avoided the word "exclusive" though). Now let's see what happens if sales of this "1M owner's only" polo shirt stuff also start to soar.

Hmmm .... Maybe I'll pay my $115 to BMW and see if I can hook a sucker on eBay for a $200.

I see a good potential that most of us may turn to cute but pathetic targets of those protagonists of History Channel's Treasure Hunters; imagine a warehouse in the middle of nowhere in 2045 and an old dude (like us...just in the future!) proudly demonstrates his 1M polo shirt, asks 500 $ for it and implies that the real stuff is locked in the garage at the backyard

Just to clarify, I bought it too.

I have always used the figure 739 actual 1M's to the US because that is the number that are Registered here in the US. The Rolex Pace car will never be for sale and could be sent back to Germany someday.

Besides it's always a good conversation starting point to debate the total number of US cars.

Free is better.

Love the free Year 1 of 1 Book!!

Audi sends out gifts all the time.

They sent a $250 Visa card to my friend because his car was built without the rear camera because it was back ordered from Japan and they wanted him to know it was an inconvenience. He had to wait a month. That was 1 of 3 of such gifts. Nice touch if you ask me.

I'm a little confused by the sizing. I have a BMW T shirt I bought at the Welt which should be representative of European sizing. It is size XL and measures 55 cm across the breast, but the sizing chart for this shirt shows XL as 64 cm and L as 60 cm. I am inclined to order large, but am a little concerned about fitment. What sizes are people choosing?

I took measurements as well (S suppose to fit per chart) and decided to order a size M, my US size is also M but sometimes L (Polo RL).

A bit of google found that it is a standard way in Europe to size shirts. The half chest length is the standard measure of the SHIRT from arm pit to arm pit. Best way is to get one of your own shirt, and measure it.

My Nautica Polo measures exact to the size Small - and also labelled as such .

If they truly wanted to do something special for that small family, they would have been sent out as gifts...
