Help me - Slek, Alpha N or Lightweight
I've been pondering on this for weeks and can't decide. I'm looking for something that will make the front look agressive but subtle and not an over kill. Also prefer a lip that does not pretrude out to much. I've researched may reviews on the forum but still can't make up my mind. Below is a list of mods that the car currently has and hopefully helps to influence your selection. The car is currently at the dealer and I dont have any recent pcitures, will upload some soon.
The car in question - BSM 1M Current Mods: - Akra Slip On with carbon tips - N55 Mids - Akra DP's - RevoSport Diffusor with ground effect panel - 2x2 weave - RevoSport trunk lip - Black line LCI rear lights - BMW Performance Seats (to be fitted) - BMW Steering Wheel (to be fitted) - P3 Vent Gauge - H&R suspension - MoRR VS802 wheels in 19's on PSS (Gunmetal) - Black Kidneys |

Lightweight, looks very small and doesnt give the propper front stance of what a front lip should do. shure its cost effective but thats what it is.
Its all to do with the design you like I suppose.. with Revosport a bit more aggresive than Slek but both items are nice looking. |

In my opinion the splitter comes down to either show or purpose and based on my experience of the Lightweight it is all about purpose.......The driving I do and the locations (plenty of air time ) , the carbon snow ploughs would have disintegrated many miles ago....

If it is mainly cosmetic, then I would go for a Alpha N splitter set, that's the most original/sexy looking among those options.

c'mon... its a no-brainer...
Alpha One splitters! I too have the BSM, with CF performance parts (Mirror caps and spoiler), Black Kidneys; also black markers and black emblem w chrome surround (pending delivery form IND) would love to do Akra (with Ti tips though) this spring according to how funds go. Since you have the CF diffuser in back, you need to balance off with CF bits upfront, making for a uniformed look IMO. Ride height sacrifice is miniscal, I had mine mounted since june last yr and have absoultely NO RASH (I do pay closer attention to potholes and angles); with stock suspension. |
