Biggest tyres without rub?

I have a 2012 125i that I daily (sorta hard). Because it's becoming a bit colder and wetter, I want to get some new tyres that wont wear out too quickly.

So I ask;

What are the biggest tyres I can get while running the 313M 18" wheels? Will I be able to run 225s on the front with 255s on the back? Or will I have to remain with 215 and 245?

Furthermore, I am tossing up between Bridgestone Potenza RE003 and the Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Which of the two is more durable? I want something that has decent grip but not too soft so it will last a little longer. If there are other tyres that you think are suitable please suggest.

Cheers,

Sterling

Are you lowered? Do you have camber plates? Are your fenders rolled/ are you opposed to doing so? Little more info please.

If stock suspension, 225 & 255 are fine, even if mildly lowered. The RE003 will last longer than PS4.

Yea, fine with M sport and stock offset wheels. I ran 225/255 (Bridgestone RE760) on stock M-sport no problems. Even lowered with Bilstein B12 no problems. Only problems when adding spacers or more aggressive offset wheels.

The RE003 is supposed to be quite good in that price bracket. They replaced the RE760. The Continental Extreme Contact (sucessor to the Conti DW) is in the same range and I hear good things.

I don't now if you have Hankook and other options available to you, the Hankook V12 is supposed to be decent.
