Anyone added Sirius (DIY) to a wagon?
Has anyone done a DIY install of the Sirius receiver in an E91? The satellite prewire connectors in the wagon look different than the sedan, wondering which of the antenna leads are used for the sharkfin antenna?

If there's anything else I can do to help let me know, my fellow e91 owner to the north.

Looks like the lower unit takes the three antenna connectors with the right angle connectors - presumably this is for Bluetooth / BMW assist / Telephone, which I do not have. Surprised there's so many different antennas! By process of elimination, the upper unit must be the Sirius unit, and the single in-line antenna connector (all pink) must go there, although it's not quite visible in the picture. It looks like the antenna connector in the wagon is different from that in the sedan, which has a dual antenna plug, with one lead for satellite and one for ground repeater. |
