"Service Engine Soon" Need Help

Gents,

Just got the car few days ago did a few pulls today and the car I believe went into "limp mode", the service engine light flashed and boost was limited. No reduced power light but boost wouldnt go above 10psi. Ran codes via JB4 nothing came up (speedo 0 and then 4 flashes) and I hooked up my OBDII reader and nothing there either. Once I turn the car off and back on the car is back to normal. I am running on Map 5 and using 95 Oct. JB4 doesnt change my map setting and stays at Map 5 even while the Service Engine Soon lights flashes. Anybody got any ideas?

From what I know, "limp mode" is reduced power. I've never had my Service Engine light come on when reduced power hit.

It sounds like a boost leak.
It's possible the codes disappear because the JB4 can auto clear codes (if you set it).
If it is a boost leak, it should be codes 30FF, 3100.
There's a huge thread on n 5 4 t e c h in regards to the 30FF boost leak issue. It also shows a number of methods of diagnosing it.

Check your vacuum lines (easier with vac pump).
Check your IC piping, CP, DVs.

Check out the steering wheel controls on n 5 4 t e c h.
I think it's option 3/3 for auto clear, and 3/4 might be to turn it off. Not sure, don't take my word lol
