I got the 8500k since it seems that is what James has on his 3er. I wanted the 7500k but everyone seems to like the 8500k so that is what I went with.

Anyone do the H3 bulb swap yet?

I just unstalled the H8's for the rings but I can not figure out where the H3 bulbs go:iono:

Please help and pictures of how to get to the H3's would be great if anyone has them.

I attached a picture of my E92, and where the H3 bulbs go. They are to change the light of your cornering lights. The concept is the same for the new 1-series

I knew where they went as far as where they light up but I was more interested in how to install them. I actually figured out how to get in the housing and install these lights a couple days ago. It is a tight fit but I got them in there.

Hahaha i'm glad you were able to successfully get it installed. Yeah, I heard that the H3 was easier to install than the H8 though. Same location as the H8.
