Next mod to choose intercooler or d.p??

I just did the jb4 and dci and want more!! ..I was gonna do the cooler and d.p's at the same time but I like to do one mod at a time to see what made the big difference ..If you would choose on these 2 mods, what would be next ??? Thanks..

you will notice a bigger performance gain with the DPs, but the intercooler is equally important. do whichever you feel like. Intercooler is an easier install however

Seeing as you already have the tune AND the intake, DEF go with the IC. Holy shit will it make a diff. Nothing makes N54 sex more apparent than with the combination of open non restrictive intakes with open, larger intercooler.

DP... less weight, more power, more throttle response, better sound... awesome. The only downfall is that it is a lot harder install... probably a 6 hour job with a lift and 2 people.

My vote is FMIC. Saying less weigh from the dps is so funny also. The 4 lbs you'll save will really be amazing!

I felt a bigger improvement with the ic than I did with dps. I also had a tune and intake when these parts where installed. I did the dps and then the ic, ic really woke the car up.

Downpipes if you want moar powah. Intercooler if you want a decent gain and lower intake temps (think longevity and reliability).

I've heard the most good things about HPF but I like my Spearco Code3 (which uses a Dinan core) a lot, too.

I've heard this is the best core around, isn't it tough to find though?

I don't know exactly what makes one intercooler better than another one. I would think the bigger, the better. Here's the Spearco if you couldn't find it:
http://www.turboneticsinc.com/interc...cooler-upgrade Pretty pricey.

The Spearco measures 6.0" thick x 5.875" tall x 22.0" wide for a total of 775.5 cubic inches.
The HPF measures 20.25" wide x 5.75" tall x 7" deep for a total of 815 cubic inches.
The AMS measures 6" tall, 20" wide and 6" thick for a total of 720 cubic inches.

Probably why people usually go with the HPF. There are tons of threads covering intercoolers. I believe the Spearco has bigger surface area and a lower pressure drop, but for the money HPF is hard to beat.

I vote AA. Since you don't want meth ever, you'll want as much cooling as you can get. It's 90% bigger than stock. I love mine!

Oh and I don't run Meth either ;-)
