So wuts ur reasoning for going with a GTI? What model/year? I had an 08 Mk5 before my 135i, I def miss certain parts about the car like the interior, the seat position, the DSG tranny, the tight handling all were quite nice. However what I dont miss is the huge ass torque steer (fwd), the weak 2.0 tiny turbo (dwarfed compared to the N54), and the lack of a sexy pulling/sounding engine. Ive looked briefly at the new mk6's, theyre nice but theres no way id look into trading this baby until ATLEAST the GTI-R comes out early next year. Wont go with that frame again unless its AWD, wouldnt make much sense to have a RWD shorter wheelbase hatchback, and FWD just blows.

Quote:
2. looking for fuel economy without driving a slow car (so hybrids out of question as well as all wheel drive) 3. its fully loaded with the same payments as my bimmer 4. warranty on the bimmer was going up in a year 5. too many electrical issues which i have had with the 135 (not to say i wont have them with the VW but, it was enough to make me think about my future with the 135 without a warranty) 6. slightly cheaper to mod in my opinion? 7. great bang for the buck don't get me wrong - i loved my 135, but i was just looking for something else to fit my new desires that i can fit in my budget Quote:
