"Tint you say?" Take a look..

So if your thinking about it I say Go For It!!!
I just had all 7 Windows(two small ones in the back doors count), done with HP 35% tint with Metalized Film by BEKAERT It looks almost Factory and matches the sunroof glass very closely. Installed by a Dealer recommended shop that does high end Vehicles and high profile exhibits at car shows, BMW, BENZ, AUDI etc..Choices can be darker or lighter tint a lot depends on the laws where you live..Any way I'm glad I went for it. Oh ya, the cost for this....$279.00 CDN before GST. Just don't roll your windows down for 2 days!! (Very sunny day for Pics)

Some Pics to view too..

Not at all, reception is just fine..Maybe LIMO style tint(very dark) might hurt receiption but you ask whomever you decide to install what effects if any may occur. The lower the % say 20% is very dark tint 50% is light tint etc..
Cheers

Yes that is 35% for that product. 50% was not enough and the 20%-25% a little too dark. With Black Leather interior the tinting can look a bit darker than if you have a lighter colored leather interior.
Over & out.

Man that looks great ... feels like I should get this one done too, it sure will look nice on my sapphire black .. and you know, this site gives me a never ending list of things I have to (or want to?) do to my car which is already expensive to begin with!

I was thinking of 35% also, and those pics just totally persuaded me. Is it light enough in the fronts though so you don't need to worry about getting pulled over? I'm just afraid of having to remove it if a cop gives me a fix-it...

Tinting the windows on the majority of BMWS will not affect the reception of neither radio, navi, ect. Unlike the elite Mercedes benz S class vehicle, or any other vehicle who decides to place their antennas on the rear view mirror for that matter, BMW rightfully places a nice sharkfin antenna on the roof...

TINT AWAY!

If the initials of this place is S T, then I agree that they do a fantastic job here in Cowtown. I also went with HP 35%.

I have 8% tint (LIMO) on all windows including the windsheild. The black windows match my black car so it looks amazing. Only way to do it. Some say it looks gangster but definatly not. Just a guy who likes a blacked out car.
