Unhappy Adaptive Headlight Failure - Please Help

What parts do I need in order to make the adaptive headlight work again? . Water got into my headlight and warranty did not cover. Was told I need 2-3 parts, but not give part numbers.

Many thanks in advance for your time in helping me!

Why didn't the warranty cover it? Did you do anything "aftermarket" to your lighting system to make BMW not honor the warranty? Sorry to pry, but I need more information to know what might even be wrong..

headlights shouldnt get water in them unless you modified them or drove into a lake..search realoem for part numbers and buy on tischer if your really cant get any dealer to cover.

unless you brought the car in with aftermarket angel eyes, make the dealer fix it.

Maybe you should try to go thru your auto insurance? It might be covered under your comp policy. Ask your agent. Can't hurt. Just tell them you have water in your headlight and it must be cracked. They will bite.

I have EXACTLY the same problem and the dealer told me to bring it in under warranty. He said they have to take the whole headlight out. Probably a ballast and/or control unit.

After inspection dealer will replace control unit under warranty. SA said as long as bulbs are of the right wattage and voltage no problem. He said this was a "not uncommon problem."
