I think its better to get "pulled off" by the Police or many "Bullen" on the Streets.

At least, Munich is secure... i dont want conditions like in Berlin, Hamburg or Frankfurt.

It is quite rare to get pulled over these days. Only IF the Polizei are looking for someone do they make these road block "checks". What is more common is to get flashed or "Blitz'd" by the red strobe light from photoradar. Now adays they even have these black UV photoradar boxes... (used in tunnels too!) so you don't even know when you get "Blitz'd". You just get the ticket/fine in the mail!

Only in Bavaria do they drive BMW's and Audi's. In other areas its VW's or Opel's of MB's. Only in Bavaria do we have green and white Polizei cars. The rest of the country has the silver/blue color scheme. I prefer the green/white cars of Bavaria! But then again I live in Bayern!

Deutsche Polizeiautos bekommen US-Sirene... starting in October this year, the German Polizei, Feuerwehr & Rettungsdienst will be getting the US style emergency sirens. The reason they say is German drivers are not responding to the classic euro two tone Polizei siren. So now when they approach traffic they will sound like a US cop car. Also when the German Polizei want to stop a car from behind... they will use the new US style siren instead of the classic German two tone one.
