Short shifter

I'm looking for a short shifter kit for the 1er.

Anybody else fitted one themselves? Is there any suppliers in Oz?

I can only find the burger ones from the states but freight charges are silly.

Try Canterbury BMW, I brought one from there around a year ago, it was ordered in.

The BMW one comes with a nice alcantera boot and insert on the shifter.

Can I ask how much you paid and do you happen to know the part code?

Did it make A big difference on lever play?

Cheers

Heres the part numbers to the short shift kit:

From what I've read you can skip the gearknob and shift boot if you only want the short shift.

I have the UUC item in my 335i, and it was well worth the $!

Absolute night and day difference with the tangible improvement.

I have the uuc one too - shifts are so much shorter and crisper. There is also an additional piece to purchase too that could improve things further.
