Hey guys, couldn't find anything preexisting so I've created a FB page for us to use locally for discussion, meets, maintenance tips and sales.

"BMW 1addicts" is an existing aussie group, mainly brisbane

but... it's pretty much dead, has been for years. so this isn't a bad idea.

Ah ok, hard to find that one. 83 members yep seems like it'd be quiet on a good day! I'll leave this one up, see where it goes, I'm keen to get some useful DIY tips/discussion, cruises/meets and buy/sell if people are keen. Easier to use than a forum for those less involved things.

You could get some more members it if it included e92/e90 3 series as well (335i).

I am also on the e90post Australian section and that is the most active forum for people in Melbourne. Most of the people on there have N54 engines

I find the forum here much less active and theres only a few people from Melb

E90post and 1addict used to be really active until a quite a few main members have changed their cars to other than BMW like myself.

Yeah ok. It's odd how the sites are so similar but different (e90post/1addicts) Australian sections. Never know which one I'm on lol

So do you guys think I should add e90/e92 335i to the group? Anything N54 basically? I was hoping to keep it kinda focused rather than a generic bmw page.

I've joined, there was previously a Melbourne 1addicts group also which has died due to members changing cars.

Agreed with Steve that e90 is much more active community in comparison

I sent a request through. I am based in Melbourne and have a VO 1M.
