No boost leaks from the stock DV's and I have tested mine to 25psi with no issues. Like everyone has recommended if you turn up the boost change your CP first. Depending on miles on the engine I'd also change plugs and coils too.
Just reading this....I'm planning a stage 2 tune having just put my downpipes on and do not want a "psschh" that goes with every time I let off the gas....while flat foot driving is one option ;-) I would prefer to remain within the confines of the law most of the time. So I started looking at a CP with diverters and found that they are quite a lot more expensive than a CP and BOV setup. Then I saw this comment saying you are using stock diverters and they are holding boost. While I have no idea if my own stock diverters will hold stage 2 boost I'm willing to try it.
What I need to know is...

1) what boost for a stage 2 tune.
2) does the CP that fits the stock diverters also fit any of the upgraded ones ? (in case mine leak and I decide to upgrade)
3) how did you test your stock diverters to 25 psi ?

Stay within the confines of the law? Is a BOV illegal where you live?
Or do you just not want somebody to hear it and see that you've (probably) modified your exhaust system (assuming you live in a place where you're not allowed).

Ha, no I meant that while flat footed shifting is an option (to stop the "Pschhh" sound since you never let off the gas) it's not exactly legal when you get to 4th gear WOT, flat out.....

Upgraded DVs are more expensive than BOVs. If your stock DVs are fine then just get the charge pipe with stock DV flanges for 200 bucks or less. If you want a BOV without the BOV sounds, get a Tial BOV. They're really quite
