Car Wash Weather!

It warmed up to 37F / 3C here, which can only mean one thing--car wash! I dragged the hose out of the garage, turned the water back on to our outside faucet and gave the 1M a good cleaning. Then I put everything back away in winter mode, as we get back to normal temps tomorrow. :)

I like your pictures better! I will say that washing your car in Minnesota winter has a couple of benefits - no bug guts to worry about and you never have to be in a hurry to get your car dry to avoid water spots. The water just kind of sits there patiently until you're ready.

Yes. I decided my 1M would never see an automatic car wash. Being from the frozen north yourself, you know it's not so bad if you have the right gear and have the mindset that you're going to embrace the winter season. Plus it makes the arrival of spring that much more special. The first unseasonably warm, sunny day we have in March all the t-shirts come out and every convertible has its top down, even though it's still 30 degrees away from true t-shirt weather.

It was great meeting up with you awhile back. The first and only time I've seen a VO 1M up close.

We're actually moving to Texas soon. I'm holding out hope I'll be able to get my 1M on a frozen lake before we leave, but our time here is rapidly coming to an end, sadly (though we're excited about Texas).
