Now we're talking...

Matt just dropped off my JB3 & CAN Tool

Excitement!!!

Shame I can't install it until next weekend - going in for "Visual Insection" service on Thursday...

Is there a manual for this sucker? Anyone know where I can get it? Maybe doing some reading will tide me over until I can get it in...

Also, what's everyone's thoughts on the OEM charge pipe? Should I be looking to upgrade it now that I'm gonna be putting more pressure through it?

Been looking at the ER Charge Pipe... Best option? (Not planning to run meth but might get 1 bung just to future-proof)

Go to BMS website.
http://burgertuning.com/support.html

That will help you with installation.

Just note on the "trick" using USB socket to unplug one of the sensor. Its very useful. I did not understand the trick and it took me a while to figure out how to unplug the sensor.

I wouldn't worry about a charge pipe unless you were going meth, or full bolt ons...

$35 for the USB cable. You can only use the BMS USB cable for the interface.

I'm FBO and meth and still run stock CP. It's blown off twice at 18psi but ever since I used heavy duty glue to re-attached it's been good to me.

Enjoy the JB3.

I presume the JB3 works for both N54 and N55 in the same manner?

I've had my CP blow off on STOCK boost back @ 6,500kms...so totally depends on your luck. CP isn't expensive and gives peace of mind. Might as well get BOV while you're at it.

This one appears to piggyback off all the sensors rather than connecting to the ECU... I'm not an expert though...

You will love it Angus! That is correct this does not plug in the same way as the JB4.

Good stuff Angus. I'd install it tonight and remove it Wednesday!

You don't need a charge pipe but it's a good idea to get one once you start running more boost. Most people don't have issues until they run meth.

charge pipe

If you have a few extra bucks just do it, one more plastic pipe in the bin is a good thing.
After spendind many many hrs on the dyno with the 135 and Adrian playing with the Procede Advan are now a dealer.
with all the new stuff out there i would go with Proceed for the 135-335.there is nothing better out there at the moment.
Procede is Cost effective and you will have back up.
regards Peter @ Advan

I start a thread saying "Yay, just bought a JB3" and now we've got something that belongs in the commercial forums about how I should get a procede instead?

So anyway... If I was to get an ER chargepipe, what BOV does everyone recommend?

...may as well go the whole hog
