Fitted my Kerscher Splitter
So... I don't have any ramps or a pair of jacks:
That was not fun... Very happy with the result though: The weave is absolutely perfect. The fitment was spot on. I put ALL the bolts in: That fucker is NOT coming off... |

Looks nice Harley. Can't believe you removed the whole front bar. Did you use liquid nails also. I think that may be my next mod.
I went through hell myself fitting my Scopione rear diffuser today. Nothings straight bolt on anymore. |

WOW! Looks AMAZING! A preview of what my car will look like hehe. Hard to believe u had to take the whole bumper off but I guess without lift equipment, I guess you've little room to move.
Congrats! |

I like!!!
perhaps the next mod should be some ramps and a couple of jacks Hit up ebay, i picked up some dudes automotive bits for 100 bucks, had a 2500kg jack, car stands, a 1500 jack, car ramps. If I went to supercheap i would have had no change from 400 bucks My car is too low for the car ramps, and the 2500kg jack. so I have to jack a side up, to get the big boy under and jack the front wheels up, then I can put the car ramps and/or stands underneath - its an operation but it sure as hell is easier than taking the full front bar off!!!! |

Haha... Yeah - thinking about 1M Mirrors and CF Caps but that's not cheap Quote:
Actually getting the bumper off was the best idea... Easy to align it and no f'ing around with taping the nuts to a hex wrench or anything like that... The actual attaching of the splitter to the bumper only took about 15 minutes and putting the bumper back on took 5... Figuring out how to get it off took me about 40 minutes but it would be faster now that I know all the little tricks... Thanks Vin, you can't have mine Very happy with the result and it made a nice change from what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks - packing/moving/unpacking... |

Sigh that looks good - why do you always make people want to buy more mods mate
1M Mirror would look hot on your car but it would probably cost 1.5k painted! ps. I love your driveway! |

Yeah... for 1/3 of the price the Kerscher is definitely the way to go - I do like the Slek one though but don't like it enough to pay $1.5k for a lip shipped! Well I want an intercooler first! one step at a time... ps. but I am sourcing a LCI taillight from someone.... pss. Just get the damn BMW PE! Go hard or go home son! |

Oh, and thanks on the driveway... I quite like it myself. Gonna get out there and gurney it on the weekend though... The previous owners left it a bit of a mess... Getting there... Just stopping to breath for a minute |

Echelon. They had a Group Buy a while back... I missed out on that (the price was $319USD) but he still did me a good price: $379 + $120 shipping.
As I mentioned earlier - That's less than 35% of the landed cost of the Slek one. Came direct from Kerscher in Germany and took a while to get here (5 weeks in transit) but no "Customs Handling" fees so I'd call it a win. The packaging was fantastic. Lots of padding and a REALLY big box... The quality of the weave is A+. I'd put it on a par with, or better than, BMWP stuff and others have said the same... |

After seeing your photos, I'm so glad I have access to all the gear needed to get the car up to a workable height.
Awesome looking ride, made even better with the lip! What have you currently done with the mirrors? Are they caps? I found a set for around US$100 which go over the standard dumbo ears.
