I have ARC8 +62 offset with a completely stock suspension and fenders.
I'm running 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport on the rear with no spacers.
It's pretty tight, but i haven't had any rubbing issues.
I plan to get 5mm spacers too.

Only 235 in the front. Not nearly wide enough, but it was the best i could do without camber plates. My 235/275 front/rear setup is actually not very good for track use, but i like how it looks.

Next time my rear tires will only be 255 to balance the car better.

235 was the widest i could fit up front with the 45 offset. i have the m3 bits up front and it still rubbed until i shaved down the bumper tabs as far as possible. i have dinan camber plates which should give me plenty of clearance, but havent had a chance to install.

I'm 17x8.5 ET35 up front with 245 Hankook RS3s (effectively a 255 width tire)

Running a ton of camber, and rolled fenders...minor rubs at high compression

Yes, great mod. The car needs all the tire you can fit. 255/35/18 and 275/35/18 PSS tires.
