Making a few more ponies on the 116i
Hey guys I own a bmw 116i M sport and was wondering if mods such as a cold air intake..lets say..from k&n, exhaust and ecu modding will result in any horsepower gains...I'm not talking about anything drastic.. but just enough to make it feel a little more sporty.
First post on here this website...Hi guys... |

extremely high...to go for the bigger engine models costs a ton more...def one of the more expensive places to buy a car. Oh well.. it was worth a shot to see if anyone ever experimented with it. Thanks for the reply though

Stick and exhaust and intake on it, at least it will sound more sporty!

I drive the 116i as well. I gave up looking for things to make it faster. Just make it look better. All mods to the engine performance will cost more than the impact it'll have
(Try to) go for a bigger engine next time

There is always too side of the story. ARMASPEED makes a very good product, as with any Super Charger system there will always going to be more restrain on your engine. If the engine components that you already have is not looked after or the mileage on the car is quite high, there is always going to be a risk for any type of modification done to the car. I don't think is fair to judge a company base on fault that we do not know the full story. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=634165
