With any exhaust it will increase flow and increase HP a bit, but no exhaust is going to really do too much for HP. This exhaust is to supplement other mods so it increases efficiency to all the mods you got.
I don't think it's hard to find a stock car coming for dyno with this exhaust set up. I am pretty sure someone local will volunteer though.

I will leave that option to HPF to decided if they want to do that. Like I mentioned, dyno'd exhaust dont really give us any information.

WHY NOT?
RE dyno their axle back and gain 9rwhp over stock. That's very impressive for just axle back.

exhaust isnt really a go-fast modification, it is to allow your go-fast mods to work more efficiently. straight up exhaust alone will just make you sound fast.

Seriously? I have personally dyno'd my previous car before and after exhaust (same day)and gained almost 20whp. If this exhaust is eliminating 2 cats for us n54 guys and eliminating the rear muffler......there should be signifigant hp gains. Not to mention less bends and the 3.5" piping. Exhausts DO make power on turbo cars. If I see proof that the factory exhaust flows well enough that even this system doesn't show gains then I'll just stay stock. $1500 for no results on the dyno? I don't think so

the major choking points are the primary cats, biggest gains in exhaust system will be seen by switching to catless downpipes. I'd imagine on the 135 we'd see maybe a 15whp gain with this exhaust. You don't buy an exhaust for power on these cars, everyone should know that by now.

If that's the case then I don't see any reason to buy a full exhaust when you can get an axleback for weight savings and sound for 1/3 the price. That's just my opinion tho. Doesn't seem right that a 3.5" straight pipe should cost over $1500 and only give 15hp, but I do believe you. Guess I'm done looking at exhausts

I'm not sure why anyone would want to see the delta from this exhaust on a stock tune. The majority of this forum are running some kind of tune and bolt-on's parts don't make a great deal of power on stock boost levels anyway.

Some people just go for the sound and looks I would say 40% maybe? I love those burn tips special adjustable since I could not find any axle back to sit flus with the CF diffuser. Also 15rwh is good to have

Allowing the turbos to spool more efficiently is invaluable, especially if you plan on upgrading them in the future

how about 0-60 times comparison? less weight and more efficient spool should improve it what...? Was this exhaust more for preperation of the supposed N54 change to HPF single turbo?

So there are a lot of varied response here to address. First off if you buy exhaust purely for HP increase and are not planning to do anything else you will be disappointed. The purpose for ANY exhaust system is to create more flow, less back pressure, and increase efficiency of other mods. Its not a 1:1 comparison depending on your modifications etc. The HPF exhaust is NOT for those just looking for a different sound, it was specifically developed for those with other modifications and for the signel turbo kit. The short comings are the DP's and if you want "big" gains from an exhaust you need to remove your cats. 0-60 times are not very important to folks so you dont see a lot of that out there with exception of the manufacturer of your car. So if you want all show no go, then save your $$ and get an axle back. If you are looking to supplement your other mods then the HPF is a no brainer. it is $$, but its not for everyone.

Axle back for all show no go? You said in your last post that an exhaust isn't a "go fast" mod and others have stated this full system shouldn't show much power gains. So how is it better than an axle back? I think that if this exhaust DOES "create more flow, less back pressure, and increase efficiency of other mods" then we should see power gains. Especially on a car that already has intakes, dp's, and increased boost. What am I missing here?

I have no idea what you are missing here. My point was that if you have no mods, no tune then just get an axle back for a more aggressive sound. if you have mods and a tune that require more flow then you need to redo your exhaust and readapt your tune.

What you're saying is straight forward, he just doesn't get it.

Can you comment on the application to an N55 and also the emission question asked earlier?

Really looking forward to this exhaust.

I dont think it has been test fitted on a N55,(would defer that to Kirk) wouldnt see any reason it would fit up the same way since the single DP diverges to 2 pipes into the midpipe. please remind me of hte emission question, couldnt find it.
