I agree.. I also like the darker tint. I had limo tint on my mercedes and would always stare at people next to me. Kinda feel naked without it.

Looks beauuuuutiful.
BTW were you on NB 280 and 19th Ave on Sunday around 1pm?

I pulled up next to a TiAg 330 (untinted though). It was from Peter Pan also.

It was the 1st time that I got up next to a e90 besides being at the dealer.

I think Solar Gard. The guy I'm hiring to do the tint is the only licensed dealer of huper optik in NYC so I trust his ability and tint choice. I think 35 % all around should be good.
Wouldn't Solar Gard ones interfer with electronics???

No, it wasn't me, I was still at home sleeping....hahahah.

UPDATE: I just talked with my tint installer today, he said the tint is for sure 43% (Suntek Carbon 45). He also told me that becuase of the carbon material, the tint would look darker than normal !!! I wish I knew this before I tint my car. When I went to the shop, the guy just finished on my friend's M3. The M3 had Suntek Carbon 35, it got the charcoal color, not like the bronze color that I had. OH well, I still love my car A LOT....

I have an appointment for the 18th of July. I picked this Titanium color tint. It looks good at the shop. Hopefully it will look good with my SG.

To my understanding it is a non-metallic film so it shouldn't interfere with the electronics. I'll ask the tinter just to make sure.

The E90 with that tint is not too bad as for the visibility at night time. I paid $250 for all 7 windows.
The tint looks great, but judging from that very up close shot, I think it may actually be 43%. I had 50% SolarGard on my TiAg E46 Coupe & that's pretty much what it looked like (never pulled over in 3 years). My experience is that light colored cars with a darker interior almost always show the tint to be darker than the actual percentage that it really is, especially Silver w/Black or dark Grey interior.

These are Solargard's metallic tint's:

http://www.solargard.com/index.cfm/f...gh_Performance

These are their non-metallic tints:

http://www.solargard.com/index.cfm/f...Non-Reflective

I have Solargard Quantum on my E46, which is highly reflective and yes, it does interfere with the radio's reception.

that car is sick, but wat i would have done was do 15% all the way around, i dont like the change from front windows to the back windows....
btw those wheels on the last red one set that car OFF...
AND imo u should take your black bra off it kills that sexy front end...

I suppose this is long overdue, finally got the car tinted on Saturday. I've had the car since June 4th but I decided to wait to put pics up until I got my tint. Here's the car:

2006 330i
SG
Black Leather
Burl Walnut Trim
Steptronic
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
35% SolarGard Tint all around
