NSW Southern Highlands - 20th September

I think we're overdue for another Southern Highlands drive. My calendar is pretty full over the next two months, so I've opted for 20th September. I will design a different route to last time, but expect it will start at 8:30am from Pheasants Nest and take in the sites of the Old Hume Highway, Tourist Road, Macquarie Pass, Jamberoo, Saddleback Mountain, Kangaroo Valley. After the morning drive, we will provide a picnic lunch of gourmet steak sandwiches, salads and drinks (light beers or softdrinks for drivers, wine for the passengers), at a cost of $15 per person. This saves the hassle of waiting forever for slow lunch orders. The lunch spot has picnic shelters so we're fine even if it rains.

So check your social calendars and let me know if you're in. This time I will be sending out the final details and runsheet via email (not posting it here). So please PM me your email address.

Please note that in the interests of keeping the group size manageable, this invitation is extended to 1addicts only. No other cars please unless the owners are in the market for a 1er. Thanks.

I was thinking of that too. The drive will only be in the morning and after a lazy picnic lunch, I was intending to take anyone who's interested to visit the Illawarra Fly. If you've been to the Tahune Airwalk in Tasmania, then you know what to expect ... both in terms of the views and the merchandising!
