Stock Sub woofers (minus Enclosure) from 2010 135i
Just removed these from my 135i about a year and a half ago. Work great, I just wanted to replace them with some more powerful aftermarket ones. Willing to negotiate the price. Last edited by packlueder; 01-30-2017 at 01:46 PM.. |

They are located in an enclosure under the seat, see picture. These sub woofers are just the subs and not the enclosure.
Be aware that if you are looking to install these into your 135i they are usually glued. This is just something that surprises people sometimes (i know it did me). |

Replaced with Focal 135i dedicated subs.
A slight difference from stock, I have the base sound system. To me it seems that a lot of the bass is still being sent to the door speakers. could be fixed with a sound processor and amplifier (yet to install). |

When you say they are glued what does that mean for installation? Will it be impossible to replace a blown sub with these replacements?

If I were doing the re-installation I would use some kind of Cyanoacrylate glue (since that is what it seemed like) and glue around the edges of the enclosure then press the replacements into place and let them sit for a couple of hours (of course you need to plug in the subwoofer before you press it into place).
