Awesome, he was really cooking there for a bit. Better him than me... Hell, my 1er doesn't even see rain, let alone snow.

Your speedo dances between 100 km/h (11 O'clock position) and 150 km/h (1 O'clock position). The margin for mistake is small and merciless.

If I were to make a video like that, it would last ± 30 seconds and eventually be labelled "BMW 1M totaled during a snow drive".

Not saying I 'm doing it like André because his speeds are relatively high, but I assure you, drifting/accellerating in snow is the easiest there is even at 80kmh or more, been there done that(130kmh /75mph sideways real speed no kidding) coming up from a ramp on the highway sideways approaching normal traffic..in control.
Great fun/adrenaline but I 'll never do that again, wife and kids are waiting. Etc etc. But man how I outran that A6 Quattro. LOL(I'm an idiot I know it sorry)

Cheers

Dude, you've got serious adrenaline issues: trees to the right, a frozen ditch on the left; I aspire to do this with the same grace and control one day.

Love it, thx for posting!

Agree. When its really bad out, it's nearly impossible to gain such speeds due to lack of traction. For example, I what stood out to me was the lack of snow on the ground but a fair amount of snow and ice on the roads.

Advevo, your AW and a BSM 1M videos are really appreciated.

Allow me to add a movie of one of your hooligan escapades with your red toy:

I also went drifting in the snow this weekend in Northern Italy: no DSC, no MDM Mode, no brakes, no exhaust sound (too bad for the starting point: tunnel) and avoiding the wooden armco barriers on a 4.5 km circuit (from 2,150 to 1,570 m) ...over and over again.
