Question E93 Front Sway Bar / Stabilizer

I have a 2012 128i M Pkg car, and ordering the E93 front bar / stabilizer.

My question is, do I need to replace/order the right and left stabilizer link's? The part numbers for both chassis are different.

Thanks for the help,

Eric

I got a used M3 bar from another forum member. Haven't installed it yet, but according to him, all you need is the bar itself, the two metal clamps, and the two rubber clamp inserts. The endlinks may be different (and the M3 versions are beefier, I believe), but they are not required.

This post/DIY also seems to aver that fact:

It really is that easy. 6 bolts total. You do not need to replace the stabilizer links unless you are also lowering the car over an inch.

No, I am not lowering it. The M Pkg comes already .6" lower than a non M. Sounds like I'm good to go. Thanks!

Can one one shoot me torque spec for the sway bar where it connects to the end-links and for the bushing brackets?

Edit:

Searching for the last hour I have come up with;

45lbs to connect the sway bar to the end links

20lbs for the bushing brackets

Can anyone confirm please?

Hey thanks for posting up! I had read that post and a couple of others... seems like there is conflicting info on this. 31 seems a bit lite. On another post here I read 45lbs. So I did 45lbs.

Like other's have advised, super simple, and super easy when using a lift like I had the chance to use thanks to my buddy. We tagged teamed this in no more than about 45 minutes start to finish. Had fun. Don't know how you have a better Sat mornin'.
