Their software runs fine in parallels or boot camp. I've done both.

Since it's been a few months, is there any update on the n51 tune?

Even better for those not in the UK we can offer this upgrade world wide with our Evolve-R end user OBDII flashing cable.

Dyno's below are using 99 RON fuel.

Flywheel Power

Wheel Horse Power

Evolve-R

This is how it works:

- We send you the cable with software
- Install the programme on your laptop (Windows XP/Vista/7)
- Plug the cable into your USB port and then to your OBDII port
- Click the 'identify ECU' button
- Read the file by clicking on 'read ECU memory'
- Email us the file
- Await for the modified file to be sent back
- Click 'programme ECU memory' button and select the new file

Initial read time is 1 hour and write time is 15 minutes. After this it takes 2-3 minutes when you want to return it back to standard.

You can then select the original or the tuned software. Handy for dealer visits if your car is under warranty.

RRP is £625 but we have a launch discount of 10% for orders placed in December 2012 making the price £561 GBP plus shipping.

For those in the EU VAT at 20% has to be added to the price.
Is this mod still available ?

Does it work ?

Where can i order ?

Thank you

If you have a "125i" not a "128i" it should already have the DISA.

Yes, you have a DISA manifold already. The DISA manifold is an intake manifold that has a series of valves that open and close at different RPMs to control airflow.

Still wondering if a N51 engine can accept this tune? It has the same DISA manifold but is slightly different from the N52.

EU spec 125i have DISA already.

I don't they ever did a 125i in the US.

N51 - we don't have them over here so difficult for us to develop something.

Is there any possible way to see the disa in a picture, to find it under my hood ?

Im asking because here in mexico bmw sells their cars very mixed up, so its possible that even though i have a 125i my car does not come with disa.

Thank you man, sorry for the trouble caused

N51

I live in California and I'm also interested in a tune for the N51. My current performance mods include an injen intake and a muffler delete with 2.5" pipe from resonator back. From all the research I've done, here are the differences I have found between the engines (other forum members, feel free to contribute/correct):

N52 has single stage intake manifold and higher compression pistons
N51 has three stage intake manifold, lower compression pistons, and some slight emissions equipment differences

I'm not sure what the engine code is for the 125i, but it sounds like it's a slightly detuned version of the N51. They should all be the same magnesium/aluminum block 3.0 I6.

Logically, it would stand to reason that the three stage intake manifold would work for the N51 since that is the one used on the 125i. Are you able to confirm?

The only other option would to go with an AA tune, but from everything I read it sounds like the Evolve tune would be a better route if it would work well on the 128i N51.

Please let me know since I am looking to purchase a new tune at the beginning of 2014.

Please PM me last 7 digits of your chassis number and I will check for you. I am 99% sure it will be Euro spec and therefore with DISA as 125i was not made in anything other than Euro spec.

In theory it should work but without testing it we do not know.

Yea I want to get some solid information on a N51 tune.

Plan on prepping this car sooner or later as a national STX car.

Engine mods would be Tune, Headers, Primary Cat delete with 100 cell secondary cats with a turn-down pipe after the secondary cats. May need to add a muffler for sound restrictions but would like to get a tune that would maximize the gains.

Hi Imran, yes I'd love to have this feature too. I used to really enjoy the overrun cackle on my supercharged Cooper S. Any chance you can add this as an option?

Also I put this tune in over a year ago now (and highly recommend it), have there been any updates to it since Jan '13?
