Hey guys, thanks for the posts. When I got back, I thought I just had to share the experience with you all.
Took her up to the redline for the first time. I gotta make sure I actually get some sleep tonight, I am dragging myself around all day today, but it was worth it

Filled up last night at $AU1.20 ish per litre for BP Ultimate 98RON.
My fuel is paid for so I don't usually take much notice, but I do remember thinking it was a bit cheaper than normal. Cost my company about $AU65 to fill the tank.

This inspired me to take some time off and put in some miles towards break in. I mentioned to a few friends about a road I really like, and they pointed out a road that follows a river ("River Road", naturally). It has all the twists and turns I wanted. I didn't want to over do it on breakin, but I could still get the G forces going. It was so smooth. 3rd gear is a rocket. 4th pulls around corners too, 5th sails down the straights - coming up on the next turn gets the hairs on the back on neck, downshift- brake- turn, turn, turn, more acceleration each time...
Wow.

On nights like this I either blast through the hills, or drive down to the beach with someone special and go for a walk.

Jamie - don't you ever sleep? Shouldn't you be out biting necks and drinking blood right now?
