Next boats scheduled for Port Jersey:

Patriot - 4/30 departure arrives on 5/12

Mignon - 5/1 departure arrives on 5/16

Tasco - 5/5 departure arrives on 5/18

Fedora - 5/8 departure arrives on 5/22

Courage (of the wrecked M3/135i fame) - 5/13 departure arrives 5/26

Faust - 5/15 departure arrives 5/29

That is as far out as the Wallenius site currently goes.

I sent an email to my CA stating that if my car did not make the Mignon I would have to reconsider my purchase decision. Everyone I speak to at the 800 number tells me the CA has the pull, greater visibility as to what is going on, etc. Well, she had better start pulling or my next car will be spelled C-A-Y-M-A-N.

Just a quick update, my CA sent me an email stating that she spoke to her manager and there is now "a rush" on the car. And, she has now switched it to priority one. Guess that explains a lot.

It was an ordered car...why the hell wasn't it P1 all this time? They screwed up.

Just found out this AM that I'm finally in transit! Guess my 7 day wait at the port wasn't that long compared to some. Hopefully, my CA will get back to me soon with the name of the boat. (Crossing fingers that it's Turandot.)

What day did your car finish production? Does the 800# or Owners Circle website say that you're "En Route"?

Well, I still can't track the car on the WW site, but the OC and 800 number agree it's in transit.

I was at the dealership yesterday afternoon and my CA told me that according to the morning report they ran, the car was still at the dock, which was what the 800 number said when I checked it first thing in that morning also. It would seem that the system is updating much faster than it used to, and the web page and 800 number are on the same system now.

I'm hoping to hear from my CA this morning when they run their report again to find out exactly what ship I'm on. I hope this isn't some glitch in the system that's giving me false hope!

I know that misery loves company but this is ridiculous.

Did you check with your CA? When I checked with her she had not listed my car as priority one although she had $1000 of my cash at the time of order placement.

Na, my CA is somewhere in Spain, I did the military purchase. Its just easier to call the 800 number and check OC. I didnt know that listing it as priority one had something to do with it. That REALLY sucks. I have already paid for my car in FULL in CASH!!! I should be priority NEGATIVE 50. LOL.

It is frankly inexcusible that you were not given the highest priority. The way that BMW has handled this is very disturbing. They should do something to compensate you.

Looks like 'shank made the Mignon. I, again, "missed the boat". Below is a copy of the email I sent to my CA:

Hello *****,
It is with great dismay that I learned today that the last of the week 16 build cars have been loaded and will be transiting to Port Jersey. Unfortunately, "my" car was not among them. Since "my" car has been at the port, three ships that together hold in excess of close to 20,000 cars have left for the states. I find it unfathomable that space for "my" car could not be found.
I do not have the luxury to wait for BMW to decide to ship my vehicle to me. As a returning customer and priority one order (i.e., a confirmed sale) I expected better. Frankly, to say that this has been a disappointing experience is an understatement.
At this point I am seriously considering canceling my order.
I will be in touch with you next week to finalize everything.

I'm feeling your pain lacrose. There is a guy who's car was built a day later then mine who made a boat for the West coats last week while mine remains on the dock. Whoever is deciding how these cars get loaded onto boats is obviously not taking the priority codes and production dates into account properly.

Lacrosse. You might still hit the Mignon with me. I dont think that ship has left yet. For some reason I am sitting on it according to the shippers tracking system. The mignon is leaving on the 1st, and is one day behind the patriot. Hopefully you can get on that damn ship!!! Ill be crossing my fingers for you, I wont leave any 16 weeker behind. Ill keep posting here until you get yours too!!!

Sorry to frustrate you further Dan, but my CA confirmed this morning that I'm on the Turandot. For the past couple of days, OC and 800 seem to be in sync, but 800 had no vessel info ("call your center for details...")
