OK, now I'm on a train heading for the port! My status finally changed to "being transported to the port of exit". I hope I get there in time to make the boat coming in on Thursday. I'm pretty sure that the two boats there right now are going to be full of week 14 and 15 people anyway, so if I can make the Thursday boat I'll be happy.

If you were on the East cost 3 weeks might be possible. I've seen reports of the ships taking less then 2 weeks to get across the Atlantic and and only 3-4 days to get through VPC.
However us West coasters have a longer boat ride and have to deal with the back log of cars due to that ship that broke down a week or so ago. Dan |

I think mine changed from "being transported" to "released to carrier" and then back to "being transported". That's why I was originally confused as to whether I was at the dock or not.

Mine is "Being transported to the port of exit" as of this morning. I'm assuming with the delay in the system that it's probably already there and waiting on a boat. So far my guesstimated schedule is staying pretty close, but the next week or so will make all the difference. I'm still thinking we'll have our cars the last week in May (at least on the east coast), maybe even a little sooner.

I'm still at the port of exit waiting for a shipping vessel. Any changes to the 800# info have happened for me overnight. Any other east coasters in my same proverbial boat? Anyone know when the next boat(s) are leaving for the East Coast. What are the chances we have our cars by the end of May. I'm thinking of taking a drive to Montreal for the GP the first weekend in June.

I think the website lags. Seems like dealers insist some cars are on boats and the website shows them as still "waiting". Verify with your CA. The lady at the 800 number told me dealers have accurate information about the boats that they dont have. Doesnt make sense to me but Ive heard of a few people who had dealers insisting the car was on a boat already.

I finished production on the 14th and I am still at the dock awaiting a ship. I dont know what the shipping schedule is for the east coast because i have no idea what port its going into. NJ or SC.

Even if I do make the doc today I think my only hope of getting on a ship this week is the one leaving on Friday. If I don't make that one then the next ship wont be there until next Wednesday, which means a week of sitting on the doc collecting dust.
