I'd say three weeks is a little optimistic if you're not even on a boat yet. I'd say at least four.

OK, now I'm on a train heading for the port! My status finally changed to "being transported to the port of exit". I hope I get there in time to make the boat coming in on Thursday. I'm pretty sure that the two boats there right now are going to be full of week 14 and 15 people anyway, so if I can make the Thursday boat I'll be happy.

If you were on the East cost 3 weeks might be possible. I've seen reports of the ships taking less then 2 weeks to get across the Atlantic and and only 3-4 days to get through VPC.

However us West coasters have a longer boat ride and have to deal with the back log of cars due to that ship that broke down a week or so ago.

I was on "being transported to the port of exit" for two days after finishing production. And then for the next three days I have been on "released to the carrier and awaiting transportation to the port of exit."

So, I no longer know what these messages mean. :iono:

I think mine changed from "being transported" to "released to carrier" and then back to "being transported". That's why I was originally confused as to whether I was at the dock or not.

I can't check right now. The 800# says they're doing some sort of system upgrade and can't answer my call.

Mine is "Being transported to the port of exit" as of this morning. I'm assuming with the delay in the system that it's probably already there and waiting on a boat. So far my guesstimated schedule is staying pretty close, but the next week or so will make all the difference. I'm still thinking we'll have our cars the last week in May (at least on the east coast), maybe even a little sooner.

I'm still at the port of exit waiting for a shipping vessel. Any changes to the 800# info have happened for me overnight. Any other east coasters in my same proverbial boat? Anyone know when the next boat(s) are leaving for the East Coast. What are the chances we have our cars by the end of May. I'm thinking of taking a drive to Montreal for the GP the first weekend in June.

I think the website lags. Seems like dealers insist some cars are on boats and the website shows them as still "waiting". Verify with your CA. The lady at the 800 number told me dealers have accurate information about the boats that they dont have. Doesnt make sense to me but Ive heard of a few people who had dealers insisting the car was on a boat already.

I finished production on 4/17 and I'm still being transported to the port of exit. I've been in that stage for 3 days now.

I was completed on 4/17 also, and mine changed this morning. I'd say your will change by the end of the day.

Even if I do make the doc today I think my only hope of getting on a ship this week is the one leaving on Friday. If I don't make that one then the next ship wont be there until next Wednesday, which means a week of sitting on the doc collecting dust.

I finished production on 4/18 and now am at the port. I don't have the schedule for the boats leaving for the West Coast. Does anyone have it handy?

Finished production on the 4/16...still awaiting a vessel. Jeremy, which boat are you? I am hoping I got on the same one since I am a fellow east coaster.
