Reigar diffuser anyone?
So I own a black sapphire metallic e82 and about to change my diffuser. Now the thing is that I like the carbon fibre look but hate replica fitments so I think I'll go for a riegar diffuser. The only thing I'm worried about is how the car looks from the side view as I think it will poke out a bit too much. anyone which can post up a picture on how the car looks with it will be great.
PS: just to give an idea of how the car at the rear is |

rieger diffuser has hydrodip carbon fiber pattern, it's not real CF and it looks TERRIBLE.

This. I got my true CF diffuser from bodmargains and it was fine.

we all know that it's never the case that it will fit 100% properly and that sometimes you need to cut or trim out of it. hell it even happened to my trunk lip and had to send it back again |

I wouldn't be so quick to assume that all replicas do not fit or that other brands will fit perfectly. The CF diffuser I got did fit very well and it has stood up to the elements very well. There are tons of threads with pics of the Rieger. In my opinion, it looks good, and the way it extends on the sides does not bother me. I generally prefer an aggressive look though. If I were to do it again, I would probably go with the Hartge and a different quad setup.

Replica or genuine has nothing to do with fitment. It only depends on the quality of the product. A lot of times people bash replica parts because they buy them off Ebay at a really low price and have a bad experience. The majority of our pieces are replicas but we take a lot of pride in creating high quality products. If you look around on Bimmerpost you can see we have lots of happy customers with great fitting and quality carbon fiber parts.
We do have the BMW Performance Style CF diffuser in stock http://www.rwcarbon.com/5/0/0/165/bm...-diffuser.html
