From what I've read it has to do with the vent on top of the dash blowing cold air to the windshield. I'm not too familiar with the specifics since I stumbled on it a few months ago while researching the new camaro.

I think it's some trait with the F body cars. My 4th gen did this and it happens right above the dash vent to defog the windshield.

I love the depreciation comments. I will be in the market for another car in about a year when my kid gets her learners permit. My "requirements" are three pedals two doors and I wouldn't have an issue if it had "only" two seats.

I will probably end up with another E36, E46, or 1 because the asking price for Camaros and Mustangs is too high.

Congrats on the SS. I had four or five F bodies, and my experiences have been better than what the "experts" here say.

I bought my 128i because it has three pedals, and was less $$ than a Z, or F body. Go figya!

Also, my partner has a 15 SS 6M with a package. I drove it around the track a few laps when I was instructing him. I wasn't pushing it hard, and it felt lighter than it is. It will easily run the course quicker than my 944S which has mild suspension mods. Pretty sure it will probably keep up with it in the turns on streets while the 944S has Rs. I wont get into analyzing lap times I ran with the E36M3, 944S, and 128i. Too many variables.

The older smaller 3 series are the cars which built BMW's reputation. The current 3 and 4 have lost that special thing. I am well aware my Camaro is as big as a current 3 or 4, but at least it is smaller and lighter than the last generation of that car.

Used BMW's are relatively cheap these days. People are scared of the upkeep.

944S, how old is that?

Be careful with that Rocky Mountain High weed.

Man, I haven't been around this part of the forum in a while. Congrats on the new ride OP. I would still like to own something with a V8 someday, and a current gen Mustang or Camaro would be perfect for that.

Well it's wonderful you offer your services to interpret another's words. I'd bet you get invited to a lot of social functions.

BTW, we have a lot of fools running down back roads in my area, and they they often get killed by a tree or some other misfortune.

Lol. Yeah, I used to like them more, but now they are way too mainstream for my taste. It seems like every single sport model on every make has them. They do look pretty good with blue on your car though.

You can get a Camaro in black with black wheels and black Chevy bow ties.

I think the black wheels look great on your Camaro. You do see them a lot more than you used to, but that's probably because more people like them and think they look good.

My wife has them on her 2015 Pearl White 370Z and I think they look awesome.
