E46 vs. 1 Series Sport seats
My 1st post on this site. I previously owned an E46 Touring with sport seats and my butt hurt after a couple hours in the seat. Are the sport seats larger in the 1 (or 3) series? No, I don't have a large butt, "but" I am a somewhat big guy at 220 lbs. 6'3". Anyone know? I have driven the 128 and 135 demos with no significant seat time of course. Any help? ::thumbup:

They seem very similar to the e90 sport seats (I have a 330xi).
I, for one, am not comfortable in the sport seats, probably in the minority. I was actually fine in the e46 sport seats (no lumbar but a small pillow). The e90 cushion bolster pinches my leg. I really feel it after not even an hour. I'm not big either (5'10" - 165lbs). What gives? Definitely try the seats thorougly. The 135i comes with a sports suspension standard so the zsp is mostly cosmetic. |

Had an E46 330i ZHP before, 335i Coupe currently (same seats as 135i Sport).
The ZHP seats were fine, but after 4 hours at the wheel my right leg would completely go to sleep. I drove an 11 hour stint across France in the 335i last summer without the slightest leg/butt problem. Hope this helps...
