Thanks guys. Here are 2 new quick shots from today. Sorry, they are cell phone pics, but today was the first real mod to the car and its first washing (first nice day in over 3 weeks of ownership!). Will take better pictures when I have more time.
First mod: BMW Performance Kidney Grills (before wash) After wash |

^^Nice shots! I really like how small your license plates are down there.

Haha yeh the licence plate is the standard one we have here. Funnily enough, a lot of people pay extra money per year to have the 'Euro' plates which are the same size and design as yours!

I'm an American living in Germany. My car is US-Spec so I can take it back with me when I go home. Thats why I have the American headlights. |

Very cool color. I almost got one but the only one I could find at the time was one with 138miles on it which means it likely was beaten and the brakes showed it. I went with the black and kind of regret it, but it is a done deal.

I'm not near to getting a 1 series, but, (thinking i would have one) chosing the color has proven stupidly hard!

Tuesday at lunch I picked up my new BMW 128i Convertible. I ordered it June 25! What a difference from driving the Jeep! This car is tight to the road and much more responsive. It's like driving a speed boat down the highway with the top down. Tonight we all went to the health club that way -- hair blowing in the wind. Wow! What a great car! This thing is a blast! Unless it's raining or freezing, I think I'm going with the top down! 2011 BMW 128i Space Gray Metallic Convertible Black Boston Leather Convenience Package Sport Package Steptronic automatic transmission (my wife's requirement) Sports Leather Steering Wheel with paddle shift Moonlight Black soft top Adaptive light control BMW Assist Harmon Kardon surround sound (my requirement) Smartphone integration I've got my iPod Touch in there through the iPod connection running iOS 4 with no connectivity issues. I am wondering why the smartphone integration adapter was needed. Just to charge? Bluetooth works fine without it. That's $144 I didn't need to spend! Other than that, everything is perfect. I love driving this car. In fact, two early morning drives with the top down through a winding country road and no firm destination confirm it: I'm hooked. Cheers, Dave
