New Discovery: Seatbelt Warning Chime Goes Off...

...after a few minutes of driving w/o seatbelt on.

Now only if there was a way to turn off the sound altogether. Other manufacturers let you do it.

If you can make your own mufflers..then I'm sure you'll find a way to turn off the sound. (JK)

My brother's Ford F-150 allows you to turn the seat belt chime off by pressing the button that unlatches the seatbelt.

I posted long ago that it turns off, its about 2 min or so.....

If I were the type to not wear a seatbelt I am still not sure if be willing to listen to it for even that long.

Ford, you set the emergency brake. turn on to acessory. unbuckle and buckle seat belt 9 times then one time after the airbag light goes off. Thats for disable. You can also do a one time disable.
