Getting your HPFP replaced by the dealer

Hey guys I'm getting long cranks and shadow codes for HPFP related things, I also finally got limp mode on the way home today. Is this easily replaced by the dealer or are they going to give me hell?

Just wondering what experiences you guys may have had since these cars are kinda old now.

Buy the part and go to an indy for install or install yourself. It's not a hard job. Plenty of youtube guides. ECS or FCPeuro have the best pricing.

An Indy or do it yourself will be much cheaper.

Why would he pay for this himself? The HPFP is covered by the factory warranty for 10/120. And it should be pretty easy to get this replaced by the dealership with no hassles OP

Is that true for '12 N55 as well? Didn't know I had warranty on that.

Don't think so. I believe it's only for the N54.

Is your car modified? That's the only thing I can think of that a dealer may give you a hard time on.

Sad to report they have had my car for 3 days now. MY car is originally from Canada.....

so they are giving me the run around saying they can't work it. Honestly I expected this. I don't understand how a part could be under warranty and it's like pulling teeth trying to get it replaced by dealer.

They act as if they are paying for my cars repairs it's stupid.

Already called them and they said it has to be registered in the US..

Even though I explained I already have the title and everything so how is it not US registered? Couldn't give me an answer

They said fill out this form and we will get back to you in 3 weeks. I can't go 3 weeks without a car lol
