That's a good lookin car - now slap some black grills on there to complete the look (I have an extra set of OEM Grills if you want to try painting or plasti-dip).

Gimlet, you car was partially why i bought my this car, saw it out at the drags a few weeks ago, running 13.7s. Then i test drove one and fell in love with it! Black grills are about to be ordered, already ordered the LED interior light kit and the DCIs. Thinking hard about the JB4... LOL

There must be a clone of mine running around here in OK somewhere, as I haven't had a chance to get on a strip yet (and certainly hope I can run faster than 13.7)!!
I've actually seen in Edmond another black on black 1er, and earlier in this thread asked if it was anyone on here with no reply - this person is underground! The black grills will really finish off the look you have going right now. And lemme say again, Blue on Lemon is just awesome. Do some research on what your needs are for performance tune wise. You can get similar power output through a number of different solutions, but some are easier to install, some have more flexilibity in the tuning parameters, meth capability etc. Have fun with the car and enjoy the hell out of it. There is a wealth of informaiton out there to research, and if you have any quesitons or need any help with the car there is a large group of folks in Tulsa and OKC that are usually happy to help out. Cheers -

Muskogee, OK checking in! I don't have any of the tools (or DIY savvy for that matter) to install DP's or FMIC which are both in my future plans. Any suggestions guys?

FMIC isn't that difficult - maybe one of the Tulsa guys can help you out. Otherwise, we do project days from time to time here in OKC and I'm confident there are folks who can give you a hand. I did mine in my garage with some assistance.
DP's - that's another story and I hear they are a PITA - never attempted.

Just picked up an 08 this weekend. Metallic black, brown leather interior, 10k miles, and completely stock. My first bmw and I cant believe how good this car is. Hopefully I can meet up with you guys sometime. I really wanna hear some aftermarket exhausts and decide if I want to change it.

Interesting! I guess you have a clone running around! It even had the same wheels that you have on your car too. You make the 4th 135 I know of in town, including my car. LOL Yeah just hit me up man, I'll be out of town Thursday - Sunday though.

I believe they are 18" VMR's but I don't really know exact details. Sadly, Dex lost his life in a car accident and his dad has kept the car as a reminder of his son.
